Description :
o Elects, picks, packages and labels medications and ancillary supplies per prescriptions, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist in accordance with the CLIENT specialty guidelines and pharmacy laws.
o Accurate counting of medications utilizing a manual process as well as any automated counting devices (EYECON)o Exercise proper hands sanitization and hazardous medication handling practices.
o Performs functions &/or responsibilities of an Operations Assistant as needed.
o Responsible for preparing and/or restocking the filling station with medications and/or supplies as needed.
o Responsible for cleaning for all pill counting devices/equipment and general working areas.
Experience o Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse or purchasing environment, data entry experience helpful.
Past experience in pharmacy a plus.
Knowledge of packing and shipping with national carriers.
Current pharmacy technician license or certification of training as required by individual State Pharmacy Regulations.
Position Summary o Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, selects, prepares and packages medications and supplies in preparation for shipment to patients.
Performs record keeping functions.
Assists in various inventory control processes.
