Waters Corporation is currently leading a search for a Senior Systems Product Manager to join our organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Separations, this individual will be responsible for driving the implementation of our Separations sciences business objectives to achieve targeted growth in our global business.
Specifically, the individual will lead the alignment of the separations business with and targeted system solutions, linked with customer business objectives and expanding the breadth and reach of Waters products into targeted application spaces.
Define and implement the Systems Product Strategy roadmap based on core technologies.
Oversee product specific market research and competitive analysis;
Understand and assess potential impact of product lifecycle decisions;
Sucessfully execute product commercialization and define, create and lead cross functional teams responsible for the successful and strategic commercialization of products;
Provide accurate market and sales trending analysis, as well as timely production and revenue forecasts;
Assist in modeling business cases, including business and financial modeling;
Managing product cost and margins;
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Required. MBA or Advanced Degree desired. Relevant scientific field of study preferred (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc)
Minimum of twelve (12) years of related work experience in, marketing and business development of laboratory / scientific instrumentation, biotechnology or health sciences
Seven (7)
years of direct management experience, preferably leading Marketing Product Managers for a scientific instrumentation/biotechnology company.
Demonstrated success and accountability for the profitable growth, forecasting, business strategy and execution of a multi-million dollar product/system portfolio.
Prefer experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry, or laboratory services offerings.
Proven experience defining, developing and implementing the strategic and tactical plans and initiatives for the successful growth and development of separations products.
Ability to understand, monitor and define emerging market trends and competitive activities
Proven track record in planning and executing new product introductions,
Strong experience in the implementation of marketing programs
Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
Innovative planning skills,excellent communication and organizational abilities
Product Marketing, Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, LC/MS, Multi-Vendor Solutions, Validation and verification, Instrument Qualification.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
