Quality Manager


Job Description
Quality Manager provides leadership and support to promote quality achievements and performance improvement throughout the company as required by AS9100. Will advise and direct quality issues in accordance with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards. Manage an aggressive vendor and customer corrective action process.
Qualifications
o Bachelor's degree
o Must have minimum 7 years experience in an ISO9001 / AS9100 quality system environment:
including coaching, delivering training & auditing to support aerospace requirements
o Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes
o Strong communication skills, verbal and written
o Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
o Six Sigma Green Belt
o 5-S
o Process FEMA's
o PPAP's
o Excel, Mini Tab, QI Macros
Job responsibilities
o Perform role of Quality Management System Representative
o Setting quality compliance objectives and ensure targets are met
o Define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
o Set-up, maintain control over documentation procedures
o Identify relevant quality-related training needs / deliver training
o Collect and analyze performance data and charts against defined parameters
o Ensure policies and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated
o Write procedures and management systems reports
o Facilitate meeting of staff from different disciplines with the purpose of leading group in planning, formulating and agreeing on quality procedures
o Persuade reluctant staff to change their way of working and incorporate quality methods
o Liaise with customers' and ensure the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications
o Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
o Prepare Management Review Meetings and minutes
o Generate/Monitor Monthly Key Performance Indicator Data used for determining quality management system's process effectiveness
o Perform ISO/AS9100 Audit and generate Process Effectiveness Assessment Report (PEAR), Objective Evidence Report spreadsheet, NCR, Observation List
o Administer Quality Management System Corrective Action/Preventive Action process per AS9100 requirements
o Facilitate customer on-site audits
o Respond to Customer Surveys
o Oversee Measuring Device Calibration procedure
o Perform due diligence on customer's request for Full Material Disclosure, RoHS, REACH, California Prop 65 and Conflict Mineral and issue Declaration of Compliance
o Renew ITAR Certificate
o Down flow the 5-S culture
o Building additional Green Belts

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
