Kelly Services has an opening for a Manufacturing Technician for our client, one of nation's leading healthcare companies, a leader in its industry for over 75 years. This position is located in 40 miles outside of Boston and approximately 25 miles north of Providence. This assignment is paying $16 to $17 per hour based on experience and is tentatively starting in April 2015. This is an initial 6-month, temporary position with the possibility for extension and/or temp-to-hire opportunity.
Must have experience sterilizing and preparing pharmaceutical and/or medical equipment in a sterile environment.
Job Duties:
Support all local manufacturing operations with specific responsibility for autoclaving, glass washing, and CIP (Clean In Place) of chromatography columns.
Supply components, small parts, glassware, tubing, etc. to cell culture and purification areas.
Operate general production equipment such as parts washers, autoclave
Complete detailed paperwork following the Food and Drug Administrations Good Documentation Practices GDP and Good Manufacturing Practices GMP.
Manually clean all portable equipment and small parts.
Receive and distribute supplies into the production area as necessary.
Perform daily cleaning of the production area to maintain in GMP fashion.
Qualifications/Skills:
Must be able to read and follow detailed written instructions and have good verbal/written communication skills.
Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing and SOPs.
In-depth process knowledge of related manufacturing techniques and specialties.
Basic Knowledge of Cell Culture, Purification, and Formulation/Filling operations and capabilities.
Experience includes familiarity with pharmaceutical production equipment including but not limited to autoclave, DP oven and CIP/SIP.
Good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
The incumbent must have experience working in a clean room environment wearing special garments.
Education:
Requires high school diploma with 2-4 years related work experience. Or AA degree with 1-2 years of related experience in a bio-manufacturing environment.
Must have working knowledge of GMP regulations.
Environment:
This position requires shift, weekend and holiday work.
o Overtime may be required at times.
o May be required to work or be assigned to a different shift as needed.
Must be able to work in controlled unclassified environment requiring special gowning.
o Will be required to follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body.
o No make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish or artificial fingernails may be worn in these work environments.

Pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
